Outreach Support Worker - Leaving Care
Do you have experience working with vulnerable young adults? Want to join a supportive team where you will work with experienced professionals in supporting vulnerable young people who live semi independently? Then we would love to hear from you.
The aim of your role is to provide young people with independent living skills so they can live independently once they turn 18.
The candidate must be willing to travel to areas within the Liverpool region.
Due to the areas this role covers a car driver with a vehicle is essential.
The role is predominantly Monday - Friday, but some weekend working is required on a rota basis.

About you
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion about working within this sector, looking to make a difference with our service users and will be looking for a challenging but rewarding role.
Essential
- Previous experience in working with Young Vulnerable Adults 16+
- Travel is essential so must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle insured for business use
- Computer literate
- Good interpersonal skills
- Conflict Resolution Skills
- An understanding of working with Multi Agencies
- Thorough knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children
- Have or be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification
