In 2019 Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) commissioned an online matchmaking Apprenticeship Service.  The scheme was launched to ensure that larger organisations transfer up to 25% of their unspent apprenticeship levy to small medium enterprises who do not qualify for skills funding.  The Apprenticeship Levy is a UK tax on employers which can be used to fund apprenticeship training.

As part of our ongoing commitment to staff learning and development, Bedspace applied and were successfully matched with Lloyds Banking Group and the NHS who agreed to fund staff NVQ qualifications.
