Bedspace deals with organisations that have wide and varying needs for vulnerable people in their charge. That is why we offer a very flexible and versatile programme of services that are specifically tailored to the needs of each organisation.
Below is a list of just some of the services we offer, but to get a real picture of how we can meet your specific needs, speak to one of our advisers in your region.
Bedspace provides all our service users with:
- Good quality, safe, secure and clean accommodation;
- A ‘Welcome and handover’ procedure when service users move into accommodation, including guidance on the many services we provide, and how to operate household appliances;
- automatic access to our emergency on-call service 24hrs a day 7 days a week for each service user placed in our care;
- Payment of personal allowance in accordance with Placing Authority’s requirements (where appropriate);
- Supported access to local community organisations;
- Assistance in developing domestic, life skills and social skills/behaviour management;
- Assistance in registering with local education opportunities and the local Connexions service (where appropriate);
- Monitoring of health, general and emotional wellbeing and registration with local doctors and dentists;
- Assistance in liaising with Probation Services and other supportive organisations; and
- Help with individual applications for national and housing benefits, to which they may be entitled.
In all cases, we are happy to work together to put in place Service Level Agreements (SLAs), which may be a statutory requirement on your part
