Staff complete NVQ qualifications
Congratulations to Carl Emery, on successfully completing his Health and Social Care (Children & Young People) Level 3 NVQ and to Ali Griffiths for completing her Business and Administration Level 3 NVQ.

Bedspace Accreditations
We are very pleased to have recently achieved ‘Accreditation of Providers’ status for Housing Related Support in the North West Region. This accreditation will sit along side our GMAC (Greater Merseyside Authorities and Cheshire) Group Accreditation for semi independent services.

Bedspace is managed and serviced by qualified professionals, who take great
pride in offering exacting levels of care for the individuals placed with us. All staff members either have NVQ Level 3, Caring for Children and Young People, or
are in the process of working towards attaining this qualification.

We employ a multi-lingual workforce, which enables us to deal with a wide range
of non-English speaking clients, on their terms: explaining procedures and
helping to fully communicate with them, to directly address their concerns.

Support workers act as much needed role models and (where possible) stay assigned to the service user for the duration of their stay. This allows for stability, at a time which may otherwise be unsettling for the service users.

Our staff works to establish a rapport with all of our service users and helps to facilitate ‘out of hours’ activities, such as music, cultural, and sporting events
etc., by arranging and accompanying our service users on such occasions.
